Engine Transportation & Dispatch
Transportation standards, engine sequences, and dispatch paperwork
Customer will remove the Engine from the Aircraft and bring it to the Transportation standard and make the Engine available to Rolls-Royce at the main base, at its own expense.
Rolls-Royce Responsibilities
Rolls-Royce will arrange and be liable for transportation of removed engines to and from the appropriate overhaul base, normally from the customer's main base, except where Rolls-Royce and the customer agree an alternative start point.
Customer Responsibilities
The customer shall be responsible for making the engine available for dispatch to the overhaul base, by bringing the removed engine to the agreed Transportation Standard (see Appendix A).

Additional Components
Any additional components fitted to the engine but not part of Covered Services remain the customer's responsibility. Work on such components (including removal, repair, sentencing, storage and refitting) will be excluded work at the customer's cost.
Non-Qualified Events
In the event of the engine being removed for a Non-Qualified event, the cost of transport will be borne by the customer.
Turn-Around Time
Rolls-Royce will be responsible for monitoring turn round time in shop and will advise the customer on the expected time period.
