Understanding Qualified Events
Engine removals shall be reviewed by both the Operator and Rolls-Royce in accordance with the process flow below to determine if the removal is a Qualified Event (as defined in the TotalCare Agreement).
Important Notice
Classification of an engine removal as a Qualified Event does not imply the shop visit costs will be covered in whole or in part by the TotalCare Services Agreement.
Operator should reference the TotalCare Services Agreement to understand the coverage of the TotalCare and what work will be covered vs. what work will be Additional Services.

Non-Qualified Event
If the removal is determined to NOT be a Qualified Event, the Service Manager (SM) formally advises the Customer that the removal is considered a Non-Qualified Event.
